WHO AM I?

I was born in Yorkshire near Haworth, home of the Brontë sisters, whose books inspired me with a love of historical romance. The dark and gothic phase didn't last long because I discovered Jane Austen and enjoyed the lively humor in her voice.

My character driven plots have humor and lots of dialogue. I like to surprise my readers and hope to make them laugh.

Jagger is a pen name, though there are Jaggers in my family. I’ve always liked the name—and no, I am not related to Sir Mick Jagger, but I did curtsy when I wrote his name.
